Garuda Indonesia is celebrating Indonesia’s 65th Independence Day
on 17 August in Singapore with a special one-day sale.
Featuring popular Indonesian destinations such as Jakarta and
Bali, the sale offers an excellent opportunity for travellers to
plan for a getaway and explore the wonders of Indonesia.
All-inclusive fares to Jakarta from Singapore will be sold from
just Sin$150, and travellers keen to explore beyond the hustle and
bustle of the city can hop on to Surabaya, Yogyakarta or Semarang
for an additional Sin$70. For nature-lovers, Bali’s beaches and
scenic hills are also within reach at only Sin$200. The tickets are valid for travel from 18 August
to 17 December 2010.
“As the national carrier of Indonesia,
we hope to be able to bring to our passengers a little piece of
Indonesia’s rich and vibrant cultural heritage each time they
travel with us. Indonesia is a perennial business and leisure
destination for Singaporeans and we are confident that many will
take advantage of this value-for-money promotion,” said Clarence
Heng, Sales and Marketing Manager, Singapore.
In addition to the special fare, a bonus also
awaits the customer who purchases the 65th ticket on 17 August,
who will walk away with a pair of tickets to any Indonesian
destination of choice.
Garuda
Indonesia was recently upgraded to a four-star rating by Skytrax,
the global benchmark for airline service standards, and the airline
currently offers seven flights daily from Singapore to Indonesia
and beyond.
The fares quoted above are only available for
purchase on 17 August 2010 (Tuesday), 9am – 5.30pm, from the
Garuda Indonesia sales office at 101, Thomson Road, #12-03 United
Square, on selected flights. Customers will have
to register as Garuda Frequent Flyer members to enjoy the offers.
