Emirates is to increase services between Dubai
and the Seychelles to seven flights per week. The additional
flight, starting 4 November 2010, will operate on Thursdays and
increase existing capacity by 16% per week per direction.
Flight EK 705 will depart Dubai at 02:30 and will arrive in
Seychelles at 07:00. On the return journey, flight EK 706
will depart Seychelles at 08:30, arriving in Dubai at 13:00.
The service will be operated by an Airbus A340-500 aircraft, offering
12 seats in First class, 42 seats in Business Class and 258 seats
in Economy.
In 2009, 157,541
tourists visited the Seychelles, the leading markets being France,
Italy, Germany, UK, South Africa and Russia.
