British Airways is to launch flights between
London Heathrow and Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city. The
twice daily service is scheduled to begin on 28 November 2010.
Richard Tams, British Airways’ head of UK&I
sales, said, “We are really excited about flying to this fabulous
city on the south west coast of Sweden. It boasts Michelin star
restaurants, culture and Liseberg, the biggest amusement park in
Scandinavia. The schedule is perfect for day trips from the UK and
timely connections onto our worldwide network.”
Flights between Heathrow and Gothenburg start
from £55.50 in Euro Traveller one-way including taxes, fees and
charges.
Accommodation in Gothenburg, also available through British Airways,
starts from £81 per night at the 3* Apple hotel and 4* First hotel
G from £150 per night.
