Continental Airlines has signed a two and a
half-year extension of their current full content agreement with
Travelport.
As a result of the extension of the agreement,
Continental published fares and related seat inventory, including
web fares available on its own site, reservation offices and
through third parties, will continue to be available to
subscribers of the Galileo and Worldspan GDS systems on the same
terms as in the most recent agreement.
"We at Continental are very excited to further
our relationship with a great distribution partner like
Travelport," said Scott Stachowiak, Director of Distribution,
Continental Airlines. “This agreement also provides us with a
flexible and cost-effective distribution solution that meets the
needs of today's dynamic marketplace.”
Continental’s current distribution agreement
with Galileo and Worldspan was set to expire in 2011. The
extension keeps the full content distribution agreement in place
through the end of 2013.
