The Princess d’Annam Resort and Spa has launched
a ‘Flying High’ promotion that offers travelers who’d rather not
drive the 150 kilometers to the resort from Saigon, an alternative
- an helicopter.
The price for the two-night, three-day package is
$27,710 and includes round-trip transfer in a Mi 17, a twin
turbine transport helicopter - flying time 1.5 hours.
At the resort, Flying High
guests will repair from the helipad to a 2-bedroom, 185
square-meter Empress Villa, designed by renowned Singapore
architect Tan Hock Beng.
A bottle of Dom Perignon awaits
their arrival, and the default location for all meals is Empress’s
second floor veranda, overlooking the pristine seascape at Ke Ga
Bay.
At dinner, if more proximity to the sea is
wanted, the Princess d’Annam ushers Flying High Guests to a
private dining opportunity beneath an illuminated awning.
The
package’s signature meal is a five-course spread, specially
designed by the chef and food & beverage manager. If grouper, sea
bass or cobia is to be the entrée, the food & beverage manager
himself, with or without the guest, travels by jet ski to a
nearby fishing village to ensure the freshest possible experience.
At the
spa, an oceanfront structure reminiscent of a
Greco-Roman landmark, therapists shepherd Flying High guests
through a 4.5 hour signature spa treatment. The therapeutic,
60-minute body massage, body scrub and body wrap all entail the
particular desires of the guest, and each facial comes after
consideration of skin type and need.
The Flying
High Package gets off the ground this month and will be current
through October.
Travel agents will receive a 10% commission on
the package, and two weeks advance notice is required. Terms and
conditions apply.
