India’s Kingfisher Airline has begun its Winter
Schedule that features 22 more flights covering 4 winter routes, 4
additional frequencies on existing routes and reinstatement of 2
routes. The key highlights of the 2010 Winter Schedule are:
• Four new routes in the 2010 Winter Schedule
namely Varanasi- Khajuraho, Udaipur-Jaipur, Jaipur-Jodhpur and New
Delhi-Agra
• Two additional flights have been introduced on
the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route taking the total number of daily
flights on this route to 3 flights a day in each direction
• An additional flight has also been introduced
on the New Delhi-Lucknow route taking the total number of daily
flights on this route to 3 flights a day
• An additional flight has been introduced
between Mumbai-New Delhi and
• New Delhi- Mumbai
• 1 flight each on the Mumbai–Kolkata–Mumbai
route and the New Delhi–Indore–New Delhi route has been
reinstated.
Mr. Manoj Chacko, Executive Vice
President-Commercial, Kingfisher Airlines Limited said, “With the
onset of the year-end peak travel season, we have introduced 22
additional flights in the 2010 Winter Schedule. These new services
will offer easy connectivity to popular winter destinations which
feature prominently on the tourist circuit. Besides, the launch of
additional frequencies on existing routes will mean that
Kingfisher Airlines will offer far more connectivity and multiple
options to travellers on these routes both on our domestic and
international route network.”
Kingfisher Airlines flies to 56 cities in
India and 8 international destinations and has over 336 daily
departures with a fleet of 66 aircraft.
