De Naga Chiang Mai launches Loy Krathong Promotion

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Friday, 9 October 2009

The De Naga Chiang Mai, located across from Tha Pae Gate in the Old City in the heart of the city, has launched a special promotion for Loy Krathong which this year takes place 1-3 November.

The Loy Krathong promotion includes 2 nights in a Deluxe room, round Trip Airport Transfer, daily American Breakfast, one Thai Set Dinner on Loy Krathong Night (2 November 2009), a complimentary glass of wine per person and one complimentary  Krathong for each couple. The package costs THB  7,999 per package (not per person) based on double occupancy.

The sights and attractions of Chiang Mai are all in close proximity to the De Naga Chiang Mai, with many various cultural attractions, the Sunday walking street, and local shops within 10 minutes walking distance, as well as featured view of Doi Suthep Mountain.

Drawing inspiration from this mystical creature, De Naga Chiang Mai displays an array of Naga throughout the hotel in the form of statues, ornaments and various decorative details.

Using a distinctly typical Lanna architectural design, which is evident from the steep gabled roof descending from an elongated pinnacle into curved, flame-shaped eaves, the architecture originates from the northern parts of Thailand. The hotel is constructed using teakwood and elevated from the ground in a traditional manner.
