Accor is to open its first ibis hotel in Pune on
1 October 2009.
Located five minutes away from Pune
International Airport and on the prominent Nagar Road artery, the
Ibis Pune is ideally located for business and leisure travellers
alike.
The hotel will offer 175
fully equipped guest rooms
with en suite modular bathrooms, contemporary fit-out
including flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi and broadband internet
access. The ibis Pune will also provide round-the-clock
reception, accommodation and food & beverage services.

significant expansion with 21 ibis hotels (3,779 rooms)
opening within the region this year, adding to the
existing network in the region of 71 ibis hotels in Asia
Pacific and over 800 globally.”
For quality well priced food ibis has
developed Spice it – a spirited and casual dining space
that offers world cuisine: “any flavour, any time” in an
interactive kitchen environment with a choice of buffet
and a la carte.
An outdoor alfresco area alongside
enables guests to enjoy Pune’s outstanding weather. The

Mr. Maverik Mukerji has been appointed
General Manager of the hotel.
Mr. Mukerji has close to over 10 years of experience in
the hospitality industry having recently returned from
New Zealand where he held the post of Executive
Assistant Manager at Novotel Tainui Hamilton.
