Tickets for this year's Emirates Airline Dubai
Rugby Sevens tournament, which will take place 3-5 December 2009,
are now on sale.
Following the success of last year's event,
which saw record crowd numbers flock to Emirates' purpose-built venue 'The Sevens' for the
first time, fans are being encouraged to buy their tickets early.
Tickets are available from The Sevens ground on the Al Ain
Road, Emirates headquarters, the Dnata Travel Centre on Sheikh
Zayed Road and numerous Costa and MMI outlets as well as online.
The Costa outlets where tickets are
on sale are: Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall and Al Wahda Mall,
Abu Dhabi and the MMI outlets where they are available are: Al
Wasl Rd, Ibn Battuta, Mall of the Emirates, Sheikh Zayed Road and
Festival City.
A valid alcohol licence
is required to enter any MMI outlet. It is also important to take
note of different timings for each of the outlets during the Holy
month of Ramadan.
Making a return to The Sevens in December
will be defending champions South Africa who will face some tough
competition in the form of England (a team that was hot on their
heels in last year's series), as well as former champions New
Zealand and Fiji.
