Korean Air has launched flights between Incheon
International Airport in Seoul and Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport in
the central Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka.
Korean Air will operate daily flights on
Incheon-Shizuoka route, utilizing a Boeing 737-900 aircraft
seating 187 passenger.
Operating every day, flight KE779 departs
Seoul/Incheon at 08:50am and arrives in Shizuoka at 10:45am the
same day.
The return flight KE780 departs Shizuoka
at 11:45am and returns to Seoul/Incheon at 13:55pm the same day.
The new Korean Air flights ensure that travelers
will visit Shizuoka via Incheon International Airport hassle-free
and enjoy various touristic resources in the central part of
Japan, including Mt. Fuji, Hamana Lake and historic hot springs.
The location of the Mt. Fuji
Shizuoka Airport also provides travelers with convenient
access to the metropolitan cities of Tokyo and Nagoya.
The addition of Shizuoka to the route network
means that Korean Air will serve 15 destinations in Japan.
