China Southern Airlines has launched new Premium
Business Class fares for travel from Melbourne or Sydney to
Guangzhou, priced at A$5060, including taxes and valid through to
31 March 2010.
The airline’s Premium Business Class Cabin
features 24 Minipod Sleeper seats, each 1.9 metres long and
encased in a ‘privacy shell’, with a generous 58 inches of leg
room and pull-out privacy dividers.
“We strive to set the
standard in Business Class from Australia to and throughout
China,” said James Liu, Regional Manager Australia for China
Southern Airlines. “The emphasis is on a premium
experience through quality service, cuisine and comfort.”
China Southern operates modern Airbus A330-200
aircraft from Australia, with Premium Business Class offering
gourmet Cantonese cuisine served on white linen with fine china
and a selection of wines, liqueurs, spirits and champagne.
The airline operates five weekly nonstop flights from
Sydney to Guangzhou and three weekly one-stop services from
Melbourne to Guangzhou.
