Hilton has opened the Doubletree by Hilton
Qingdao / Chengyang in the Shandong Province of China. The opening
brings the number of Doubletree by Hilton hotels in China to
three.
This newly redeveloped 320-room hotel, with extensive meetings and events facilities
designed to cater for up to 750 people, is owned by the Qingdao Sunkin
Group.
Located in the heart of the Chengyang District and
only nine kilometres from Qingdao International Airport, the hotel
is convenient for attractions such as the famous German influenced
architecture of Qingdao, the Tsingtao International Beer Museum,
local hot springs and an Olympic Sailing Centre, all making for a
leisure or business stay with a difference.
The
35-square-metre rooms feature high-speed internet access, a large
LCD television and electric-powered shower curtains for guest
comfort. Guests staying on the Executive Floor can further enjoy
complimentary access to the executive lounge.
Sports
and health enthusiasts will be delighted with the hotels spa
facilities, indoor heated swimming pool, well equipped gymnasium
and squash court.
Unique to Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao / Chengyang
is a 260 by 110 metre wide golf driving range where keen golfers
can work on their swing before heading to some of the championship
courses in Shandong Province.
The Riverside Cafe serves an international buffet daily or the
Garden View Lounge provides a quiet space for guests who would
like to retreat to a cosy corner for a drink. Guests can also
experience top-quality seafood cooked in typical Shandong and
Guangdong style at the Harbour Seafood Restaurant, and the
HanJiang Korean Restaurant offers a taste of traditional Korea
with its exquisite Korean dishes.
The hotels meetings and events facilities
feature a dedicated conference space situated on
the second floor including a Grand Ballroom,
multi-function hall and meeting rooms of various sizes. Guests can
also make use of the private rooms adjacent to the Harbour Seafood
Restaurant for more intimate meetings.
