The 3rd annual Sales and Marketing in Travel
Asia Pacific is to take place in Sydney Australia on 18 and 19
November 2009. The event, being held at the Swissotel Sydney, will
feature over 25 of the top sales and marketing professionals from
around the region.
Leading proceedings on 18 November is Michelle
Lee, General Manager Marketing for the Virgin Blue Group, with a revealing look
into the success of a recent twitter campaign.
Social
media branding, loyalty, and sales will be discussed throughout
both days of the event, shedding light on some of the more
mysterious components of these very new, and highly effective
marketing tools.
Old
favorites will also be revisited at Sales and Marketing in Travel
Asia Pacific 2009, with topics such as the key areas of SEO
spending and the direct versus indirect sales channel both open
for debate.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the difficult economic conditions have
elevated these considerations of old back into the list of
priorities for sellers and marketers of travel.
Join around 150 of
Asia Pacifics top sales and marketing executives from across a
multitude of travel sectors, to discuss and debate these key areas
over two inspiring days:
- The brand implications of social
networks - The power of pricing - Reigniting the sales debate -
Direct vs Indirect - Website content for consumer stickiness and
sales - New sales trends of a cost conscious society
-
Affiliates - they're the new black - Sales and Marketing for the
budget wary consumer - Using social media for engagement &
loyalty - User worth vs. Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) - Consumers
and the distressed buying mentality Implications of reactive
marketing
