Travelport GDS has opened six Solutions Labs
across Asia to better showcase its end to end product offering to
travel agents, as well as provide customers with a facility to
test their own solutions and software.
The Labs have been set up within Travelport
offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Manila, Taipei and Kuala
Lumpur and replicate a virtual agency, whereby travel agents can
experience real time demonstrations of Travelport’s end to end
solutions including online booking engines and front-, mid- and
back-office systems.
The facilities feature key
Travelport products from front-office solutions such as Galileo
Desktop – which includes Low Fare Shopping, E-Pricing, Galileo
Leisure and Galileo 360 Fares – through to Travelport Reach,
Galileo Online Travel, Cross Check Travel, Custom Viewpoint and
Galileo Instant Messenger. Mid- and back-office solutions can also
be trialed including E-Tracker and Agency Private Fares (APF).

prospective customers. Our complete end to end capabilities can be
demonstrated in real time, providing new agency partners with a
more complete picture of our products, solutions and services, and
how these can assist with their specific business needs,” said

trial their own technology solutions and software with Travelport
