Jet Airways to Launch Mumbai - Riyadh Flights

India’s Jet Airways is to launch services to Riyadh, the capital and largest city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from Mumbai, effective August 6, 2009.

This will be the airline’s second service to Saudi Arabia, complementing the airline’s existing daily Mumbai-Jeddah service.

The airline will launch four services a week on the Mumbai-Riyadh sector, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays respectively, aboard a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

On Mondays, flight 9W 524 will depart Mumbai at 17:25, and will arrive in Riyadh at 19:00. Flight 9W 523 will depart Riyadh at 20:00, and will arrive in Mumbai at 02:25.

On Tuesdays, flight 9W 524 will depart Mumbai at 22:30, and will arrive in Riyadh at 00:01. Flight 9W 523 will depart Riyadh at 01:00, and will arrive in Mumbai at 07:25.

On Thursdays and Saturdays, flight 9W 524 will depart Mumbai at 19:30, and will arrive in Riyadh at 21:05. Flight 9W 523 will depart Riyadh at 22:05, and will arrive in Mumbai at 04:30.

With the introduction of this new flight, Jet Airways will fly to 8 cities in the Gulf, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh.
