Carlson Hotels Adds Avis and Budget Rent A Car to Loyalty Programme

Carlson Hotels has added Avis and Budget Rent A Car to its goldpoints plus loyalty programme.

goldpoints plus members can now earn 750 points on qualifying rentals at participating Avis and Budget outlets worldwide. In addition, members can save up to 25% on car rentals when they mention the Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number G639300 or the Budget Customer Discount (BCD) number U106500 at the time of reservation.

The goldpoints plus programme allows members to earn and redeem points at over 1,000 global participating Carlson Hotels Worldwide properties which include five brands - Regent Hotels & Resorts; Radisson Hotel & Resorts; Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts; Country Inns & Suites By Carlson and Park Inn.

“The addition of Avis and Budget to our goldpoints plus programme is a further demonstration of our commitment to loyal guests. We are constantly looking at ways to enhance benefits to our members,” said Frank Trampert, executive vice president, Revenue Generation – Asia Pacific, Carlson Hotels Worldwide.

To kick off the partnership, Avis is offering goldpoints plus members an opportunity to earn up to quadruple points.

Through the end of July this year, members can earn 1,000 bonus points on Avis car rentals of two or more days (for 1,750 total points). And goldpoints plus Elite members can earn 2,000 bonus points on rentals of two or more days (2,750 total points).
