Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Thursday, 29 January 2009

Thailand-based Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has signed a management contract to open its first serviced apartments. The Anantara Baan Rajprasong Serviced Apartments will open in central Bangkok in March 2009.

Working in partnership with Rajprasong Pattana Company Limited, Anantara will manage the 97 one and two bedroom apartments on a 5,000 square metre plot on Rajadamri Road, close to the city’s main shopping and business areas.

In keeping with the Anantara brand pillars, Baan Rajprasong will have a boutique ambience with an accent on elegance and service. The apartment-style living will be further enhanced by the addition of a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and laundry service.

Facilities at Anantara Baan Rajprasong will include a deli-style restaurant that will offer home from home dining for guests. The 12th-floor Club Lounge will feature a meeting and library area, and boast views over the Royal Bangkok Sports Club and across to Lumpini Park.

Leisure services come in the shape of a state-of-the-art fitness centre, swimming pool, landscaped gardens, and an exquisite spa.

Rooms at the Anantara Baan Rajprasong will be available to long-term corporate guests as well as short-term visitors to Bangkok

Anantara Baan Rajprasong is close to the business and shopping districts of Silom and Sukhumvit, and a BTS sky-train station is around 100 metres away. Siam Paragon and the Central World shopping and entertainment complexes are both within easy reach.
