Outrigger appoints Robert Merrigan as VP Property Services - Asia

Outrigger Enterprises recently appointed Robert Merrigan as Vice President Property Services, Asia.

In this new position Mr Merrigan will direct and control all of Outrigger's construction projects within Asia. One of his responsibilities will be to provide planning and technical services to owners of properties that are under management by Outrigger Hotels and Resorts in Asia.

Prior to joining Outrigger in 2009, Mr. Merrigan spent 25 years within the industry as a consultant, including three years running his own business and two years advising Outrigger Hotels and Resorts on a number of projects in Asia.

Mr Merrigan spent over 20 years with UK Group EC Harris in Europe, Africa and Asia. He has over fifteen years experience in Asia and has worked extensively on resorts in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and China as well as hospitality projects in Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, central and eastern Europe.

Mr. Merrigan is a UK national educated at The University of The South Bank, London. He has completed a number executive programs in the hotel and real estate sectors. He specializes in development and project management.
