Flying with Lufthansa will very soon be worth double for
Miles & More members. In the next two months, members will be
earning double status miles on each Lufthansa flight within
Germany and Europe.
The campaign begins on 1 September
2009 and ends on
31 October 2009. Aside from flights operated by Lufthansa,
customers can also accrue double status miles on flights with Adria Airways, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Croatia Airlines,
LOT Polish Airlines, Luxair and SWISS.
With status miles,
Miles & More members acquire and retain the status of frequent
traveller and of Senator.
Status customers enjoy an array of
privileges, including lounge access at airports, waiting list
priority or extra allowance for free baggage.
Frequent traveller
status is acquired by members for accumulating 35,000 status miles
in a given calendar year regardless of their domicile.
Members
resident in Germany obtain Senator status for earning 130,000
status miles in a given calendar year, those living outside
Germany acquire a Senator card after accruing 100,000 status miles
in the same period.
