Throughout the months of May and June, the Hospitality
Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) is holding a special
membership recruitment campaign which offers any new member joining HFTP
a US$100 registration discount to the 2009 Hospitality Industry
Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC), held June 22-25, 2009 in
Anaheim, Calif. New members will receive this discount on top of the already
discounted member registration fee.
“During difficult times it is
reassuring to know there is a network of peers out there that understand
and support you during your professional challenges,” said Frank Wolfe,
CAE, CEO of HFTP. “Membership in an association like HFTP is a great way
for professionals to expand their career by utilizing HFTP membership
benefits like education conferences that cover the hottest industry
topics, networking events, certification opportunities, free webinars,
online forums and more.”
Currently, HFTP has over 4,800 members
in over 50 countries.
New members must join
between May 1 and June 30, 2009 to receive the US$100 discount on HFTP
event registration. New members must have had no prior
affiliation with HFTP on or after January 1, 2008 to be
eligible for the promotion.
HFTP is a global professional association for
financial and technology personnel working in hotels, clubs and other
hospitality-related businesses. It provides educational
opportunities, research, and publications to more than 4,800 members
globally including, the hospitality technology conference HITEC
- founded in 1972. HFTP also awards hospitality-specific
certifications for accounting and technology - the Certified Hospitality
Accountant Executive (CHAE) and the Certified Hospitality Technology
Professional (CHTP) designations. HFTP was founded in the USA as the
National Association of Hotel Accountants.
