From 12 January 2010, a fee will be charged for
all alcoholic drinks in Economy Class on Finnair's European
flights.
Wine and beer will be charged in Economy Class
on flights within Europe. Red and white wine will cost 5 euros and
beer 4 euros. Sparkling wine and stronger alcoholic drinks already
cost 5 euros.
In Business Class all drinks are free of charge.
In Economy Class on intercontinental flights there is also a fee
for sparkling wine and stronger alcohol, while wine and beer is
free of charge.
Alcoholic drinks are for sale on European
flights departing at 10:00 and thereafter, except on the routes to
and from Riga, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius.
Also from 12 January 2010, it will be possible
to order cosmetics, jewellery, sweets and other presents from
Finnair's pre-order selection to almost all European flights to
and from Helsinki excluding flights to and from Riga, St.
Petersburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius. High-quality wines are
also available for flights departing from Helsinki.
Previously pre-orders could be made for the
flight towards Helsinki from 23 European cities. Now orders are
also available for the flight leaving from Helsinki. The 11 new
pre-order destinations include Berlin, Copenhagen, Gothenburg,
Hamburg, Kiev and Oslo.
The minimum sum for pre-orders is 30 euros. All
passengers receive 10% discount for pre-orders made online.
Finnair Plus members earn Plus points for their purchases.
