WORLDHOTELS has signed three new affiliate
hotels in the United States, Argentina and Brazil.
All joining as new affiliate hotels of the
Deluxe Collection are The Empire Hotel in New York, Hotel Madero
in Buenos Aires, and the newly restored Hotel Santa Teresa in Rio
de Janeiro.
Located on West 63rd Street directly
across the street from the lush greenery of Dante Park,
The Empire
Hotel occupies its own private corner nestled between two New York
City legendary landmarks – Lincoln Center and Central Park.
With a total of 420 rooms and suites, The Empire Hotel
has been a historical part of the city for over 100 years and is
newly renovated, restoring the historic address to its former
glory, complete with rooftop pool, acclaimed restaurant and chic
rooftop bar overlooking the city’s legendary landmarks and
unobstructed views of the Broadway and Columbus Avenue gateway to
the upper west side of New York City.
The Empire
Hotel is fully equipped with wireless high speed internet and

public, The Pool Deck refreshes guests in the rooftop plunge pool

refreshing food and beverage options as well as spa services.
Spread over 8,000 square foot on the 12th floor of the hotel, The
Rooftop serves some of the hottest cocktails in town and savory
bites such as Lobster Rolls. Centre Cut’s cuisine interprets the
classics for a modern audience with nightly performances. The
restaurant serves an extensive assortment of succulent “center
cuts” of meat and fish in a contemporary style.
Hotel Madero is one of the best designed hotels in South America

ago, the hotel is located in Puerto Madero and just 4 minutes from
the center of the most modern neighborhood in Buenos Aires, with
easy access to the river, historic attractions, and entertainment.
Each of the hotel’s 169 guestrooms and 28 suites
features WiFi, work desk with high-speed internet access, LCD
television and deluxe mini-bar, incorporating a Madero Spa &

Hotel
Santa Teresa in Rio de Janeiro is a historic hotel which has just
reopened following a three-year renovation. The hotel offers just
44 luxurious suites and rooms with private patios and terraces and
spectacular views over lush gardens to the city.
Its sophisticated tropical design splendidly evokes the culture
and origins of colonial Brazil using natural materials such as
cotton and linen, coconut and banana fibres, tropical woods,
Portuguese tiles and burnt cement.
Highlights
include the sumptuous LE SPA for pampering and rejuvenation
treatments, The Tereze, which offers “cuisine du mode” by
executive chef Damien Montecer and the atmospheric Bar dos
Descasados, located under the arches of what was once a slaves
quarters with sunset views from the balcony.
