Preferred Hotel Group has signed two new members in China. The Regal Jinfeng Hotel in Shanghai is the second Sterling Hotels property in the city, and in early 2010, the Regal Master Hotel will open under the Summit Hotels & Resorts brand.

Opened in November 2009, Regal Jinfeng Hotel features 380 guestrooms and suites, each conveniently equipped with high-speed Internet access and LCD televisions. To cater to extended-stay guests, selected rooms also offer kitchenette facilities. Five stylish restaurants and lounges offer Chinese, Italian, and international menus. Other facilities include a pillarless ballroom and 13 state-of-the-art meeting rooms for events, and a fully equipped health club and spa. Located in the prime commercial area of the Jinqiao Export Processing Zone in Pudong, Regal Jinfeng Hotel is a 30-minute drive from Pudong International Airport, and just a 10-minute drive from the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The Regal Master Hotel will open in Chengdu in late January 2010. Located near key commercial and shopping areas, the hotel is just a short walk from a subway station and 10 minutes from the new Chengdu International Exhibition and Convention Center. Its 350 spacious guestrooms and suites feature high ceilings and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Facilities include six restaurants and lounges, nine state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a Grand Ballroom that seats up to 650 guests, a 25-meter outdoor heated swimming pool, and a fitness center and spa.

"As a long-time partner of Preferred Hotel Group with its existing seven hotels, we are delighted to grow with Regal Hotels International with the addition of these two new properties and further expansion into China," said Mark Simmons, Area Managing Director – Asia, Preferred Hotel Group.
