Executive Appointments at Pan Pacific Hotels Group

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Mr. Chua Chi Min as Vice President, Openings and Rebranding and Mr. Kenneth Chan as Vice President, Strategy and Planning.

Boasting 15 years of experience in hospitality and property development, Chi Min, in his new role, will lead a matrix team from operations, brands, revenue, people, technical services, finance, quality and information technology to ensure capabilities and processes are in place for new hotel openings and rebranding.

Chi Min, a law graduate from the United Kingdom’s University of Leeds, has extensive experience in property development, specialising in country clubs, hotels, high-end condominium projects and innovative housing developments.

His last appointment was as an Executive Director with Pulai Springs Berhad, a Malaysian Main Board Listed company, where he oversaw operations of the company and its offices in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. In that role, Chi Min also developed strategic direction for the company’s business ventures in the Asian region, including China, India, Singapore and Indonesia.

A black belt qualified Lean / Six-Sigma practitioner, Kenneth Chan, in his new appointment, will design, implement and maintain Pan Pacific Hotel Group’s strategic blueprint in line with corporate objectives. In this role, he will be responsible for establishing an operational support platform that will promote operational excellence.

Kenneth’s most recent appointment was with DHL Express (Singapore) where he institutionalised the Quality and Service Excellence culture for long-term sustainability. He has also held corporate planning and development appointments with Meritus Hotels and Resorts and Raffles International, where he developed and deployed processes to instill high performance standards for the achievement of outstanding business results.
