The Manila Marriott Hotel opened last week,
under a long-term management agreement between Marriott
International and Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc. The
hotel General Manager is Richard Saul, with Indraneel Benadikar as
Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Manila Marriott Hotel is located in the new
Resorts World Manila complex, an entertainment haven and the first
of its kind in the Philippines, featuring the country’s largest
casino, an iconic mall, restaurants and bars, a 1,030-seat arts
theatre, cinemas and other exciting outlets.
An introductory rate of
US$ 150++ per night for a deluxe room is being offered until 31 December
2009.
The Manila Marriott Hotel is a 20-minute
drive from the Makati business district and merely 15 minutes from
Manila's newest dining and business hub, Bonifacio Global City
Taguig.
Guest rooms feature
luxurious bedding, high speed internet, 40-inch, high definition
LCD televisions with jack pack plug and play systems and spacious
work areas. The two top floors house executive level rooms and 19
deluxe suites. Guests can enjoy a spectacular view of the 18-hole Villamor golf course from the executive lounge.
The hotel has a good selection of
dining options. Marriott Café is a casual
all day dining restaurant that features international cuisine
while Cru Steakhouse is a paradise for meat lovers, serving the
finest dry aged prime cuts of steak alongside a variety of
delicacies including oysters, lobsters and fine wine. For guests
looking to relax over a cool drink, Velocity Bar and the lobby
lounge provide a perfect venue.
The Quan Spa offers a multitude of
services including 60 or 90 minutes sessions of Filipino
style Hilot a traditional body therapy
treatment, utilizing fresh papaya, coconut, coffee and banana
leaf. The spa has four single treatment rooms, one couple’s room,
one Vichy shower, one bathing suite and a reflexology lounge.
The
hotel also has a fully equipped health club that offers cardio
equipment, free weights, fitness classes and a pool.
The Manila Marriott Hotel has
almost 14,000 square feet of meeting space, offering six meeting
rooms with a total of 3,963 square feet and a Grand Ballroom with
capacity of 9,892 square feet, available for seating up to 990
people. Experienced meeting planners will assist guests by
coordinating all details to ensure flawless execution of events.
