Danny Lingham has been appointed as General Manager of the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok which are scheduled to open late October 2009.

The Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok is the first extended-stay property for the Pan Pacific Hotels Group outside of Singapore. Danny, in his new appointment, will oversee operations at the 148-suite property.

Danny began his hospitality career in 1985, and has worked in a number of senior positions with leading hotel brands in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and China including Westin, Accor and Shangri-La.

His last appointment was with President Park Executive Serviced Apartments in Bangkok, Thailand where he managed a mixed-use complex that blends condominium, extended-stay and retail components into one holistic entity.

“Leading the opening team at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok is an exciting challenge,” said Danny Lingham. “There is a growing market for luxury extended-stay accommodation in Bangkok and with our unique Personal Assistants service that will instantly connect our residents to the city, we are poised to meet that demand.”

Part of the upscale and trendy Eight Thonglor development (located between Sukhumvit Soi 55 and Petchaburi Road), the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok features 148 well-appointed Suites with various configurations, premium branded amenities and high speed internet connectivity.

Leisure facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness centre and swimming pool and a Pacific Lounge where guests can unwind. Residents will also enjoy easy access to a wide variety of shopping and dining options.
