Absolute Hotel Services has appointed Willem
Pentermann as Regional Managing Director Indochina based in the
Hanoi office. The appointment is effective 1 January 2010.
Willem Pentermann, a 23 year hospitality
veteran, began his career in 1986 in food and beverage operations.
He worked up through the ranks where he ended up with the
executive assistant manager position in 1996 at The Landmark
Bangkok for two years before joining The Heritage Club Bangkok as
general manager, also for two years. He was also general manager
of The British Club Bangkok before moving on to pursue new
opportunity in Manila, Philippines as general manager of Tower
Club and then in New Zealand as the same position at the luxury
Huka Lodge. Prior to joining Absolute Hotel Services as the
regional director Indochina, he was director development of
Palmerston Hotels & Resorts in Japan.

our expansions of U Hotels & Resorts Brand as well as Eastin
Hotels & Residences and will allow Absolute Hotel Services (AHS)
to operate more effectively and efficiently in Indochina heading a
team with local resources who have in-depth knowledge of the
market backed up with the support from Absolute Hotel Services
