The Buddha-Bar Hotel in Prague has opened for
business. It is the first of a series of chic new hotels by the creators
of the legendary BuddhaBar which started in Paris and has now expanded
to prime sites in several major cities throughout the world.
Opening rates for the hotel start at 275 Euro
per night per room including breakfast and are available until
March 31, 2009.
The innovative Buddha-Bar interior design
concept was been created and has been refined over ten years by
Raymond Visan, who strives to create “living areas” by combining a
restaurant and bar with a live DJ playing world and chill-out
music. Visan is now looking to extend the vision’s interpretation
through its new hotel brand.
The five-star property is located in the heart
of the Czech Republic’s capital, close to the Old Town Square and
only ten minutes from Charles Bridge. Its 36 luxurious rooms and
three suites are decorated in a contemporary modern Asian design
with French colonial influences and feature the legendary ambience
of the famous BuddhaBars.
The Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague offers
state-of-the-art wellness amenities including fitness facilities,
a hammam steam room, a Jacuzzi, as well as signature spa
treatments offered in the privacy of guest rooms. In-room
facilities include 40” full HD interactive TV, high-speed wireless
internet access and other amenities that suit both business and
leisure travellers alike.
The property is remarkable not only for its
unique design, but also for its culinary delights. The two-level
underground Buddha-Bar restaurant, bar and lounge with its
well-known giant sitting Buddha, and the restaurant Siddharta Café
features a masterful blend of Asian and Western cuisine in a
Pacific Rim style.
