Greg Webb has been appointed as President, Sabre
Travel Network, one of the world’s leading providers of
high-performance travel solutions. In this new role, Webb will
take responsibility for the overall performance of the Sabre
Travel Network business around the world.
Webb has been with Sabre for 14 years and has
experience with all aspects of the Travel Network business
including leading the marketing organization since 2005 as well as
managing the company’s supplier relationships, Travel Network
business in Asia, and Sabre’s Hospitality Solutions business.
“Greg has proven himself to be an exceptional
executive leader with an excellent understanding of the issues and
opportunities that our dynamic industry faces. I am confident that
Greg’s global insight and deep knowledge of the business will
further position Sabre Travel Network for continued growth in both
existing and emerging markets, while also facilitating greater
collaboration and innovation within our business,” said Tom Klein,
Executive Vice President for Sabre Holdings.
Webb will assume his new role as President,
Sabre Travel Network, on January 1, 2010 and will continue to
report to Tom Klein.
