HP Enterprise Services and Pegasus Solutions
have signed a seven-year services agreement that will allow HP to manage
Pegasus’ technology infrastructure, providing data center services
including server, storage and network management for Pegasus and
its clients, which include hotels and travel distributors around
the world. HP also will provide its disaster recovery
services for Pegasus’ data center environment.

shared expertise in the travel industry, a relationship between
Pegasus and HP was a natural move,” said Mike Kistner, chief
executive officer, Pegasus Solutions. “The integration of Pegasus’
RezView NG into HP’s Travel Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
platform will result in innovative solutions that will help our
clients better understand and track their customers’ preferences,
identify new sources of revenue and increase operational
efficiencies.”
HP will utilize its Best Shore global delivery
network, which provides skills and expertise using
consistent business and technical processes from locations around
the world.
Additionally, HP will manage the Pegasus
employee workplace computing environment for employees in 17
offices across 11 countries. Services include software management
and site support services
for employee desktops, notebooks and mobile devices.
