Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Laurence
Courtinat-Vernon as Vice-President, Brands. In addition, Frances
Koh, formerly Brands Manager for the group, has been appointed
Director, Brands.
Laurence has extensive experience in
strategy, brands and revenue, as well as online marketing,
e-commerce and consumer behavior. Laurence has worked
with Disneyland Resort, Paris and leading European retailer Fnac.
She graduated with a Master of Arts in Business and Economics from
H.E.C., France’s top business school.
In her new role, one
of Laurence’s key priorities is managing the strategic review for
both the Parkroyal and Pan Pacific brands, for which global
branding strategist Interbrand has been appointed. The project is
aimed at refreshing the brand propositions for Pan Pacific and
Parkroyal to position them for future growth.
Frances, who
joined the company in July 2008, has been instrumental in the
areas of brand guidelines creation, marketing activities and
providing marketing support for pre-opening hotels within the
group. She boasts substantial regional experience and expertise in
brands, having served in key marketing communications positions in
Singapore, Macau and China with Hilton, Wynn Resorts and Sheraton.
Frances graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree
specialising in International Marketing from The University of
Melbourne in Australia.
