Singapore-based GHM has appointed Albert
Lafuente as Director of Sales and Marketing for The Saujana and
The Club at The Saujana in Kuala Lumpur.
Educated
in the Philippines, Albert has over 20 years of hotel business
experience gained through roles in rooms division, food and
beverage, sales and marketing at hotels and resorts throughout
Cebu.
In 2008 Albert moved to Singapore to take up the position of
Director of Business Development for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts
prior to joining GHM.
Opened in May 2005, The
Saujana is set in a 160 acre private tropical estate fringed by
two 18-hole world championship golf courses and features 210
luxurious rooms and suites in a low-rise setting with picturesque
views of the property’s emerald surroundings.
The
name Saujana originates from an old Malaysian expression which
means “as far as the eye can see”. Considered one of Kuala Lumpur’s
finest city resorts, The Saujana is located on the
outskirts of the city. The architecture and interior design of
the resort reflects a contemporary Asian style incorporating local
design elements.
This November, The Saujana opened

resort located next to The Saujana Kuala Lumpur with 105 rooms and

Club at The Saujana is a private enclave with guest
accommodation ranging from Club Rooms, Terrace Suites, Superior
Suites, Deluxe Suites, and Executive Suites to the lavish Saujana
Suite.
