AirAsia launches Buy Now Fly Now Promotion

AirAsia today launched special budget fares for immediate travel to Malaysia and more than 65 destinations across Asia, the UK and beyond.

Fly to Kuala Lumpur from Perth from $99one-way or the Gold Coast and Melbourne from $199 one-way and then head to the Asian destination of your choice from as little as $15.

As part of the buy now fly now sale, one-way fares from Kuala Lumpur to China are available from $110, to Taiwan from $70 and to London from $227 one-way.

Fly to Penang, Langkawi or Johur Bahru from Kuala Lumpur from $15 one-way, to Hanoi and Phnom Penh in Cambodia from $39 one way and to Bangkok and Phuket from $31 one-way.

Released today, the buy now and fly now fares will take you from Perth to the UK (via KL) return from as low as $700 and from the Gold Coast or Melbourne to the UK (via KL) return for under $900.

AirAsia Australian general manager Darren Wright said the immediate travel period meant people would be able to stretch their travel budgets further.

"The exciting thing about this sale is the ability to grab a value base fare for travel immediately. With the strength of the Australian dollar to the Malaysian ringgit and pound, the opportunity has never been better to enjoy a quick getaway,” he said.

Buy now fly now fares include taxes and charges. Fares are available until 14 June 2009 or sold out and for travel from June 15 to September 30 2009.
