The Grand Park Otaru in Japan has launched a
‘Premium Golf Package’ enabling people to tee-off at Hokkaido’s
oldest and most exclusive golf course - The Otaru Country Club.
From ¥19,000 onwards, guests can enjoy a round of
golf at the exclusive Otaru Country Club which includes
complimentary green fee to the 18-hole new course, return transfer
for a minimum of 6 persons and a night’s stay with an ocean view
room at Grand Park Otaru.
An additional charge of ¥5250 is
applicable for tee-off on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays and
is subject to prior reservations.
The ‘Premium Golf Package’ is
available on a single, twin or triple sharing basis.
Established in 1928, The Otaru Country Club has hosted
world-class golf championships such as The Japan Open, Japan PGA
Championship and the Sun Chlorella Classics. It is situated on the
east coast of Hokkaido, Otaru Country Club’s golf course and
offers a flat fairway lined by trees.
Chua Kim Song, Acting Hotel Manager of
Grand Park Otaru, said, “We wanted to offer an exclusive
package featuring only the best of both golf and
accommodation. Guests will have the opportunity to
discover the 18-hole new course in the most prestigious
golf course in Hokkaido, at the same time, experience a
hotel renowned for its luxurious rooms and panoramic
views.”
Grand Park Otaru is located along Ishikari Bay where glass blowing cottage industries,
Victorian-style architecture and canals line the shores at the
picturesque sea-trading port of Otaru. All 296 rooms and suites
offer comfortable and stylish interiors.
Guests can
discover creative fares at Terrace Brasserie, the hotel’s all-day
dining restaurant, while the Bay Lounge offers tongue-tingling
desserts complemented with aromatic coffee and tea. Unwind at the
Marina Bay with cocktails, wines and premium whiskies. The
Patisserie serves freshly-made
breads, assorted pastries and desserts.
For
shopping and entertainment, Wing Bay Otaru is one of Hokkaido's
largest shopping malls, housed next to the hotel.
Reservations for the ‘Premium Golf Package’ must be made at least
one week prior to arrival.
