Kuwait’s Wataniya Airways is expanding its route
network to include daily flights to Amman, the capital city of
Jordan.
Amman is one of the most popular
destinations for travellers from Kuwait and will help to provide
additional seating capacity in time for the busy summer schedule.
Commencing from early June, Amman
will be added to the list of existing destinations that Wataniya
Airways serves, which include Dubai, Bahrain, Cairo and Beirut.
“I am
tremendously excited that our next aircraft will be delivered in
time for us to launch this new service to Jordan,” said Mr.
Abdulsalam Al Bahar, Chairman and Managing Director of Wataniya
Airways. “Amman is an ideal destination for business and leisure
travellers and we are confident that our exceptional service with
competitive prices will provide real value for money.”
The
route expansion is made possible by the arrival of the airline’s
third brand new Airbus A320 aircraft from Toulouse, France,
scheduled for delivery in late May 2009 and ready to commence
flying the routes in early June.
