The Hilton Beijing Wangfujing has won the
prestigious 2009 International Five Star Diamond Award. The hotel
opened its doors for the Summer Olympics 2008.
Bestowed by The American Academy of Hospitality
Sciences based in New York, USA, this highly regarded award is
accorded to recipients for their commitment towards excellence in
luxury and service, with in-depth evaluations conducted on service
delivery, facilities, ambience, attitude, gastronomy, and above
all, hospitality standards.
The award was presented by Mr.
Joseph Cinque, the President of the Academy to Mr. Nils-Arne
Schroeder, General Manager of Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, at a
ceremony held within the hotel’s premises and
attended by five 3-Star Michelin Chefs and Celebrity Chefs from
the US, Italy, France, Germany and Columbia as well as team
members from various divisions.
Commenting on this
achievement earned by the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, its General
Manager Mr. Schroeder said, “We are indeed honored to receive this
