Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort, a riverside
resort in the north of Thailand, is offering travellers the chance to
participate in a seven day yoga retreat designed to relax the mind and
improve overall health and vitality.
The program will take place on 13th – 19th March
2009, under the expert guidance of yoga master John Dunbar.
Guests
will learn a series of breathing techniques, gentle stretching
exercises and bending postures. The transformative yoga retreat is
suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners and focuses on
posture, breathing, relaxation, mediation and diet.
The retreat
will include daily spa treatments in the resort’s Parvati Spa, a
riverside wellness centre dedicated to providing the
finest treatments and personalized service. Yoga and spa
treatments will be complimented by a diet of healthy cuisine
prepared by an internationally renowned chef.
Yoga master,
John Dunbar has studied, taught and practiced yoga for over a
decade.
His journey began at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas
before expanded his knowledge at various ashrams and yoga centres
in America.
He further enriched his practice in India, visiting
numerous yoga masters who trained him in advanced posture,
breathing and meditation techniques.
Today, he continues to pursue
further knowledge and regularly attends seminars and training
session around the world.
