InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has
appointed Daniel Ebo, as the new Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Africa.
Daniel
has over ten years experience in the hospitality industry and will play a key role in developing the sales and marketing
strategies for IHG’s estate within Africa.
As part of his new position he will oversee the
IHG's 14 properties from his new base in Nairobi.
In addition to his role in developing sales and marketing strategies, Daniel will work closely with both owners and hotels, to ensure the continued
successful running of the brands portfolio and future expansion within Africa.
“I am very excited to be joining IHG in this new position,” said Ebo. “I plan to use my knowledge and experience to maximise business for the
individual hotels and resorts and look forward to building and working with our colleagues, to strengthen and grow the IHG brand within Africa.”
InterContinental Hotels Group currently operates 79 properties and 19,476 rooms within the Middle East and Africa with a further 41 properties
and 10,819 rooms in the development pipeline.
