Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is this week turning an
Arabian Travel Market spotlight on its first UAE property, and fourth in the Middle East,
as it looks towards a number of other new projects across the region.
Set to open late next year on a prime location within Dubai International Financial Centre, Rosewood Dubai is being introduced to travel
trade visitors for the first time over the next few days at the luxury brand’s ATM stand at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition
Centre.
“We’re all very excited about opening our first property in Dubai and are looking forward to expanding our portfolio of outstanding luxury
hotels to a variety of other prime locations in the region,” said Michael Gibb, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ Vice President of Operations and
Development, Middle East.
Rosewood already has three well established properties in Saudi Arabia and Gibb
added, “We’re consistently looking at new opportunities
to reinforce the Rosewood presence and develop the brand within the Middle East, and the expansion possibilities include Abu Dhabi,
Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt.”
Rosewood Dubai will be a stunning new example of modern architecture on Sheikh Zayed Road, offering guests easy access to the city’s
central business district, international exhibition centre, Downtown Burj Dubai and Dubai Mall’s myriad of designer shopping and
entertainment facilities.
Rosewood Dubai
will feature 154 luxurious guest rooms and 36 suites, two world-class restaurants, an exquisite ballroom, and 49 Rosewood
Residences for extended stays. Located on the top floors and offering breathtaking views of the city, the Residences give guests a balance
of privacy with the benefit of five-star services and amenities.
In fact, as all the rooms and suites are between floors 27– 44, each one provides guests with
panoramas of the city, ocean and
desert.
Another major attraction for hotel guests, and Dubai residents who like to pamper themselves, is the launch of the company’s first Middle
East Spa, Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which will be an 18,000-square-foot sanctuary of health and relaxation.
Featuring a rooftop pool and fitness centre, the luxury spa also boasts 12 treatment rooms, including one exclusively for men, a Hammam
and two private spa suites.
The hotel
will also offer spacious, ultra high-tech meeting and banquet facilities enhanced by the
personalised services of a meeting butler.
With the Grand Ballroom accommodating up to 400 persons, there are also four individual state-of-the-art meeting venues catering for 20 –
200 guests, as well as three executive boardrooms.
