Last
month, Rhombus International Hotels Group was presented with the following awards in
Guangzhou, China.
• "Most Potential Hotel Development/Management Company" at the
2008 China Hotel Industry Leaders Summit
• Induction of Mr. C. Mak as one of China's Hotel Industry 100 Elites at
the 2008 China Hotel Industry Leaders Summit
• "2007-2008 China Top Hundred Hotels" for Hotel LKF by Rhombus at the 2008 China Hotel Industry Leaders Summit
“Although these three awards were presented to individuals and respective
properties, they represent the collective efforts of all Rhombus Hotels team
members in Hong Kong and even in Canada. These awards should have been presented to each and every member of our team,
both staff and management. Without their hard work and contribution, and most importantly
continuous execution of Rhombus’ Goals and Philosophies, we would not be
able to receive these prestigious awards,” said Mr. Calvin Mak, Founder &
CEO of Rhombus Group.
Originating in North America with over 25 years of international experience,
Rhombus International Hotels Group is a subsidiary of C.T.E.W. which was
founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as a result of a demand in
the hospitality marketplace for ‘hands-on’ management expertise and knowledge that is practical, efficient and customized to meet each unique
need.
During 2008,
Rhombus added two new properties to its Hong Kong portfolio; Hotel Panorama by Rhombus, a 324-room deluxe business hotel in
Tsimshatsui and Hotel Bonaparte by Rhombus, a cozy European boutique property located in
Wanchai.
Additionally, Rhombus has secured
long-term development assignments for two new properties in China, a 5-star all suites hotel in
Chengdu and a 5-star Resort in Dameisha, Shenzhen, scheduled for completion in 2010.
