Is clutter taking up space around your home or business and limiting your ability to get things done? So why waste precious space with unused
kitchenware, unwanted decorative items, party dresses, seconds and overruns, and the like?
If
you live in Bangkok, then why not remove the clutter, the excess, and the stuff you dont need and convert this into cash for yourself or for charity.
Join the 3rd Clutter Sale for Charity, organized by the NewsMakers, a charity-minded group of media veterans, PR professionals and celebrities intent
on contributing to society.
This years event will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at the newly-expanded and renovated Grand Ballroom of the
Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok.
Over the past three years, this annual event has been attracting hundreds of bargain hunters on the lookout for treasures sold by members of
the public, the expat community, socialites and celebrities, some of whom volunteer their time and clutter to help raise money to fund Cancer
Research. This years beneficiary will be The Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer.
The goods sold are primarily second-hand items but in almost new condition. Past events have seen, among others, items such as brand-name
goods, vintage clothes, fashion accessories, jewellery, sports equipment, and even cars, change hands. The event has become a much-awaited
fun occasion for both vendors and shoppers alike.
For this years event, a Diplomats Table has been set aside for items donated by the diplomatic community. A Lucky Draw will be held for a
chance to win attractive prizes, for tickets priced Bht 40 each.
Interested vendors are requested to book their tables early, as booking is on a first come, first served basis. Vendors with personal clutter are
required to make a donation of Bht 2,000 per table while semi-business vendors donation per table is Bht 3,000. Donations in kind will also be
accepted to be sold at the events Charity Corner.
