Travelport GDS, one of the world’s leading global distribution system (GDS) providers, has
signed a global dual preferred GDS agreement with FCm Travel Solutions’ Network Partners worldwide.
The new agreement complements Travelport GDS’s existing agreement and will be reviewed annually.
Anthony
Grigson, FCm’s Global Executive General Manager, said, “Many of our Network Partners use one of the three Travelport GDS
Cores, which are Galileo and Worldspan (used globally) and Apollo (used mainly in the USA). This agreement gives our Partners a greater choice
as well as commercial, content and technology benefits.”
Both Galileo and FCm have experienced significant growth over recent years, with Galileo, now part of Travelport GDS, continuing to support
FCm in its expansion around the globe.
Travelport’s Global Account Director for FCm, David Saunders said, “FCm has been a willing beta tester and earlier adopter of our corporate
products and provided feedback during our research and development phases, so we are delighted to extend our business relationship to its
Network Partners.”
