The
Conrad Centennial Singapore has once again partnered with the Singapore Red Cross
(SRC) on a festive charity drive to be held between 30 November and 31 December 2008.
The Conrad Christmas Teddy Bear
Charity Drive, a project introduced in December 2007, aims to encourage the public
to do their part for charity by promoting the spirit of giving and sharing during the
holiday season and to donate generously to support the needy and less fortunate
ones. All proceeds from this programme are donated to SRC.
A major draw among children and even adults, the signature Conrad Christmas Tree
is adorned with Conrad teddy bears, and stands 16 feet high in the main lobby of the
hotel.
For a nominal
Sin$5 donation, guests are welcomed to participate in the “Guess the Number of Conrad Teddy Bears on Christmas Tree” and the top 5 correct entries
will stand a chance to win prizes like a 2 nights weekend stay for 2 persons
in Conrad Bali. In addition, all participants will also receive a Conrad teddy bear as a
memento. Tickets can be purchased through the concierge desk located at the
hotel lobby.
The main draw will be conducted at the hotel on 5 January 2009.
People can contribute to the Singapore Red
Cross donation boxes located at the Front Desk of the hotel.
