Veronica Tan joins Capella Singapore as Director of Human Resources

Veronica Tan has been appointed Director of Human Resources at the Capella Singapore. The luxury hotel, scheduled to open in March 2009 and located on Sentosa Island in Singapore, will be the Southeast Asian flagship for Capella Hotels and Resorts.

Most recently, Veronica, a native of Singapore, served as director of human resources for the St. Regis Hotel, Singapore. Prior to that, she served in the same position at Le Meridien, Singapore. During these posts, Veronica was charged with providing professional advice and executive support to the general manager, participating in the development of employee policies, and designing and implementing training programs for all personnel.

Veronica received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Curtin University of Technology in Australia. She also has a Human Resource Management degree from Singapore Human Resources Institute.
