Jetstar
Asia has launched daily flights between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. The
Singapore-based low-cost-carrier is utilizing Airbus A320-200 aircraft with
180 seats on the new route.
Jetstar
Asia's CEO Ms Chong Phit Lian said, “Jetstar Asia is excited about the commencement of its flight
between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. This is an important event as it marks the start of the
availability of lower fare options to fly between Singapore and Malaysia cities. We are confident
that our product will be appreciated by the traveling public between the cities. We are also happy
to play a part in bringing the linkages of the two closely knitted cities even closer.”
Jetstar Asia
is operating out of Changi Airport Terminal One and KLIA’s Main Terminal. Travel
time from KLIA main terminals to the heart of Kuala Lumpur is around 45 minutes via city
trains and the KLIA Express.
