The 15th London Business Travel Show, 10th - 12th February 2009 at Earls Court,
may well be 45 weeks away but the organisers are already creating new geographical ' Pavilions' and visitor trails that focus on specific countries and global regions. The sector showcases:
Technology, CSR and Business Meetings created last year will also be expanded.
The 'Pavilions' and visitor trails are: UK&I, Europe,
the Americas, Middle East and Africa as well as Asia Pacific. Each will highlight hotels, serviced
apartments, meeting and conference venues, and ground and air providers who serve that country or global region.
David
Chapple, Business Travel Show event director, said, "Whether it's a trip from London to Manchester, a short hop into Europe or a
longer trip to the West Coast of the US or China; it is the location of the business meeting that dictates the suppliers travel buyers can
consider.
Once the location is known, buyers then judge the suppliers who transport or accommodate their travellers on factors such as cost, service
and value. By creating these Pavilions and trails we make it easier for the exhibitors and visitors to interact at the show and do business."
The Business Travel Show is
a leading event for anyone who buys or manages company travel or books business trips and sources
meeting venues over the Internet, the phone or through an agent.
Around 250 suppliers of cutting edge business travel products and services were at the 2008 Business Travel Show, including 60 first time
exhibitors.
