Mr
Michael Nagel, a 37 year industry veteran, has been appointed General Manager of
the Hilton Beijing.
Mr Nagel has spent the last 34 years of his career working at Hilton properties around the world; from Royal Tehran Hilton in 1975, to Hilton
Petaling Jaya most recently, with postings in Trinidad, Manila, Nagoya, Osaka, Singapore, Taipei, and Seoul in between.
During his seven year posting as General Manager of
the Hilton Pataling Jaya, Mr Nagel spearheaded several renovation projects including the
refurbishment of Paya Serai restaurant, the creation of a dedicated Hilton Meetings floor and renovation to Uncle Chillis Pub and Restaurant.
A German national, Mr Nagel started his hospitality career as an apprentice with Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg, Germany.
