Air Tahiti Nui
is to increase fuel and insurance surcharges, effective from 5 May 2008, for travel originating in Australia to destinations
including French Polynesia, the USA, Europe and Japan.
New one-way fuel surcharges from Australia to Papeete are
A$95, A$105 to Tokyo and Osaka, A$130 to Los Angeles and New York, and A$161 to Paris.
An insurance surcharge of
A$5 one-way will be charged from Australia.
For roundtrips, both the fuel and insurance surcharges are double the one-way fees.
These surcharges apply to all passengers flying with Air Tahiti Nui.
Surcharges will be waived for infant passengers under two years of age.
