International Standards for Food Safety Management
ISO 22000:2005 is an international certification standard that defines the requirements for
an effective food safety management system. This certification complies with HACCP’s role (a systematic preventive approach to
food safety management by addressing food safety risks in the production
process), that was further developed into an auditable standard by ISO and
concluded in the formation of ISO 22000:2005.
To achieve this, Holiday Inn Park View Singapore has been proactively
streamlining and auditing its operation processes for the past year to meet
these precise standards.
General Manager of Holiday Inn Park View Singapore, Mr Shantha de
Silva said, “With ISO 22000:2005 certification, the hotel has in place an
internationally recognised system to ensure food safety at all levels from
storage to preparation and delivery.
“Put simply, ISO 22000:2005 helps ensure food safety from farm to fork.
By being the first hotel in Singapore to achieve this certification, Holiday
Inn Park View Singapore proves to be always aiming higher – not only for for
enhanced customer experience but also for service excellence also.”
