SilkAir has launched twice-daily flights to Kuala Lumpur, which, together with five daily flights by Singapore Airlines, increases the flight
frequency between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur offered by the two carriers to seven daily flights.
From 1 December 2008, Singapore Airlines
and SilkAir will operate four daily flights each on the route, increasing flight frequency to 8 daily flights. Together with flights operated by
codeshare partner Malaysia Airlines, the three carriers will offer 15 daily flights between the cities.
SilkAir flies to 30 Asian destinations and is the regional wing of Singapore Airlines.
